<h1>Media Replace lands Tuesday&nbsp;</h1>

<p>Hey there,</p>

<p>Quick heads-up: WP Adminify <strong>v4.1.13 ships on April 29</strong>, and it brings a feature called <strong>Media Replace</strong>.</p>

<p><strong>Short version:</strong> swap any file in your Media Library with a new version without changing the URL, attachment ID, filename, or publish date. Every post, page builder, embed, or external link that already points to that file keeps working. No re-attaching anything.</p>

<p>What it handles:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Replace a file from Grid View or List View in the Media Library</li>
	<li>Auto-backs up every previous version, so you can roll back step by step via a &quot;Back to Original&quot; link</li>
	<li>Matched File type (jpg &rarr; jpg, pdf &rarr; pdf) so URL extensions stay valid</li>
	<li>Turn it on at <strong>WP Adminify &rarr; Productivity &rarr; Media Settings</strong></li>
</ul>

<div class="highlight">Every replacement keeps a backup file on disk. Fine for logos and PDFs. Less fine if you replace a 200MB video weekly. That&#39;s part of why we want to hear from you before we lock the defaults.</div>
